Find CBSE Class 12 Physics Practice Paper (Set- X). This paper contains important questions from 10th unit (Communication system) of physics. These questions will not only help the students to prepare for exams in a better manner, but will also help them in understanding the depth with which a topic should be studied.

Few sample questions from the Question Paper are given below:

    Q. Explain why F-layer persists at night whereas D-layer and E-layer disappear at night?

    Q. Sam went to the market to purchase a TV set. He got confused with so many features and functions of various models. He called one of his friends Ajay and asked for his suggestions. Ajay being an engineer explained him about the communication system, digital and analogue signals. With the help of his suggestions, he purchased a high tech colour TV.

    (a) What values did you observe in Sam?

    (b) Which type of communication channel is used to transmit TV signals?

    Q. Explain the meaning of baseband. What is the total modulation index when a carrier wave is modulated by three sine waves for which modulation indices are μ1 = 0.3, μ2 = 0.4 and μ3 = 0.5?

    Q. Obtain an expression of modulation index of an AM wave. What are power and current relation in such a wave? Why is amplitude of modulating signal kept less than the amplitude of carrier wave?
