The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (CBSE NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses on behalf of The Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. Students who had appeared for the test and are waiting for their result should keep their roll numbers handy to avoid unnecessary panic.
The CBSE is a board of education that functions under the Union Government of India in regard to both, public and private schools. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) functions under the overall supervision of the Controlling Authority which is vested with the Secretary Education, Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing merit list to the Counselling Authorities.
