Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Job

Educational Qualification:

• Department of Society Technology Interface: 1.Master’s Degree in any area of Social Science/MBA/Science/Engineering/Technology from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. At least 55% in Master degree in relevant subject and at least 60% in at least two preceding examinations.
3. Any areas of research interfacing Information Technology and Public Policy.
4. Candidates, who have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the provisions contained in the Para 4.1 (I) (A) (ii), UGC Regulations, 2018 are exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.

• Department of Sports Bio mechanics: 1. Master’s Degree in any area of Physical Sciences,Biophysics, Bio mechanics, Sports Mechanics or Engineering from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. At least 55 percent in Master’s Degree and at least 60% in at least two preceding examinations.
3. National Eligibility Test (NET) in Physical Science, in Mathematics or in Physical Education.
4. Candidates, who have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the provisions contained in the Para 4.1 (I) (A) (ii), UGC Regulations, 2018 are exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.

• Department of Sports Bio science: 1. Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Food Science, Food Technology, Home Science from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. At least 50 percent in Master degree and at least 55% in at least two preceding examinations.
3. Demonstrable record of interest in Sports Science, preferably Sports Nutrition, Sports Biochemistry, Sports Physiology.
4. National Eligibility Test (NET) in Home Science or ARS -NET in Food Technology.

• English (Integrated Programmes): 1. Master’s Degree in English from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. At least 55 percent in Master degree and at least 60% in at least two preceding examinations.
3. National Eligibility Test (NET) in English.

• Department of Economics: 1. Master’s Degree in Economics from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. At least 55 percent in Master degree and at least 60% in at least two preceding examinations.
3. National Eligibility Test (NET) in Economics.
