Chandigarh Primary Teacher Posts Eligibility and Age Limit
The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognised university.
Should have done a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) of not less than 2 years duration recognised by NCTE.
Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted in accordance with the guidelines framed by NCTE.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 21 and 37 years as of January 1, 2024. However, relaxation of age will be given to reserved category candidates.
Chandigarh Primary Teacher Selection Procedure
The candidate will be selected based on their performance in the written examination. The test will have 150 marks objective-type questions and the qualifying marks for the test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.

The selected candidates will be placed in the pay matrix of Rs 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs 4200, as notified by the Chandigarh Administration
