The BSE (Board of Secondary Education), Odisha was established under the Odisha Education Act, 1953 and has 5 Central Zonal office in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Baripada, Berhampur and Sambalpur. The main objective of the board is to control & maintain all the necessary secondary education in the State of Odisha. Every year, the board conducts final examinations for Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), High School Certificate Examinations (HSCE) and examinations of other courses prescribed by the Board for Class 12.
