The Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) issued the notification for the Combined ARS 2014 Preliminary Examination and National Eligibility Test- 2014 (II) (NET 2014-II) and for which the application accepted till 08 September 2014.
While, ARS 2014 Preliminary Examination will be conducted to decide the eligible candidates for ARS 2014 (Main) Examination. The candidates declared successful in ARS 2014 (Main) Examination followed by viva-voce will be recommended for appointment as Scientists in Agriculture Research Service of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in the Pay Band-III of Rs.15600-39100 plus Research Grade Pay Rs.6000/-.
ASRB NET 2014 (II) test will be conducted to decide the eligibility for Lecturers/Assistant professors by the State Agriculture Universities (SAUs)/ Agricultural Universities (AUs) as per the following schedules:-
