Corporation Bank Recruitment of Probationary Assistant Managers 2011

Corporation Bank was established in the year 1904 and was nationalized in 1980. Corporation Bank is the first bank to have started Cash Management Services, Gold Banking, m-Commerce, ‘Online' approvals for Educational loans and 100% CBS Compliance. The Bank has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Assistant Managers who have taken Common Written Examination for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainees conducted by IBPS and have a valid Score Card issued by IBPS.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks. (For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 50% marks are required). Computer Knowledge in MS Office.

Essential Requirement: Minimum IBPS Score obtained in CWE for Pos/ MTs 2011-12:

• General Category: Marks in each subject 25, Aggregate Marks 151
• Reserved Category: Marks in each subject 21, Aggregate Marks (SC/ ST 126, OBC 141, PWD 106)

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years

Application Fee: Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex- Servicemen candidates is Rs 50 and fee for other category students is Rs 200.

The fees need to be paid in the form of challan available on the bank's website through CBS/ NEFT at any of the branches of Corporation Bank

Pay Scale: Rs 14500 - 600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time. Total emoluments will be Rs 23,223.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit ranking after adding the marks obtained in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011 (including supplementary exam in November 2011) and interview.

Bank has the right to call only those candidates who have IBPS score in in the stipulated CWE. The total marks for interview will be 100. Candidates will have to obtain 40 marks (35 marks for reserved category) to qualify in the interview.
