CBSE Revises CTET Exam Date for December 2024: New Date Set for 14th December

CTET New Exam Date 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notice regarding the CTET Exam Date for the December 2024 session. The CTET 2024 exam, initially scheduled for December 15, will now take place on December 14, 2024, across 136 cities in India. This decision was made due to the scheduling of several other government exams on December 15.

According to the official notice, "As per the information received from various candidates, several competitive examinations are scheduled to take place in some states and union territories on December 15, 2024 (Sunday). Therefore, in the interest of candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on December 14, 2024 (Saturday). If the number of candidates in any city exceeds capacity, the exam may also be held on December 15, 2024 (Sunday)."

All other guidelines outlined in the information bulletin remain unchanged. Initially, the exam was scheduled for December 1 but was postponed to December 15 due to administrative reasons, before being rescheduled again to December 14. Check the revised CTET schedule below:

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Central Government Schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS).
