CUET UG 2024 Exam Dates Might be Changed Due to General Elections, Check Latest Update

CUET UG Exam Dates 2024: The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 Exam schedule might be changed due to the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The expected adjustments to the exam dates will be made to avoid any clash with election dates. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the tentative exam dates and the CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from May 15 to May 31, 2024. However, the final schedule will be released after the Election Commission of India announces the general election 2024 schedule.

As per the latest update, the NTA will announce the final date sheet for CUET UG after the last date for filling out applications i.e., March 26, 2024. The final dates will be based on the total number of registered students and their geographical distribution. Earlier the NTA announced that the CUET UG exams may held between May 15 and May 31, 2024. In this period, two dates overlap with the election dates on May 20 and May 25.

The NTA has started the online registration for CUET UG 2024 on the official website- cuet.samarth.ac.in. All interested and eligible candidates can apply online by March 26, 2024.

CUET UG 2024 Exam Dates

"The dates announced by the NTA are tentative. The agency will release the final dates once the Lok Sabha election dates are announced. The tentative dates are from May 15 to May 31". UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said in an Interview.

CUET UG 2024: Key Changes

In the third edition of CUET UG 2024, the NTA is going to make some major changes which will help them to conduct the exam in a better way. The changes are as follows:

• The CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in hybrid mode.
• The normalisation of the score will be removed this year
• The number of subjects a candidate can choose will be reduced to six, earlier it was ten.
