Delhi Government issued notification for recruitment of teachers to 3758 posts under Government of NCT of Delhi / New Delhi Municipal Council / Municipal Corporations of Delhi (SDMC, NDMC, EDMC). Interested eligible candidates should send their applications in prescribed OMR Form till 20 March 2013.

Age will be reckoned as on the last Date of receipt of application forms
Upper age limit relax able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates; by 3 years for OBC candidates; by 10 years for PWDs; by 15 years for SC / ST PWDs; by 13 years for OBC PWDs.
Examination Fee
OMR application form can be obtained by paying Rs.110 (Rs.100 as examination fee + Rs.10 as cost of OMR application form) in cash at the concerned centres.
SC / ST / PH / EX-SM are exempted from payment of examination fees. They can obtain the OMR application form by paying Rs. 10 only.
The OMR application forms can be obtained from these office against payment of requisite fee on all working days between 1000 hrs and 1600 hrs from 20 February 2013.

Selection Procedure:
Selection will be done on the basis of candidates‘performance in the One Tier (objective type/MCQ) examination.
DSSSB will conduct the One Tier Examination of 2 hour duration. The 200 mark question paper will be divided into two sections. Each section will have 100 questions of one mark each.

There is provision of Negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Languages which would be in the concerned language only.
Candidates selected for written examination will be notified about the dates of examination. Examinations will be held at various centers in Delhi only.
If two or more candidates in the same category have equal marks, candidate older in age will get preference. In case of further tie, candidate having higher marks in Section ‘A’ shall be preferred.
In case, there is large number of candidates, the Board may shortlist candidates for written examination on the basis of marks in qualifying exam.
How to Apply
Interested eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed OMR application form should be sent to ‘The Secretary, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board, FC-18, Institutional Area, Karkardooma, Delhi-92 by Ordinary / Registered / Speed Post or dropped in the Drop Box kept at the said office till 20 March 2013.
(Applications delivered by hand will not be accepted)
NOTE:
No document should be attached with the OMR application.
The OMR application form should not be folded or stappled.
The application form should be filled up using Blue / Black ball pen only.
Candidates should send only one application for one post.
One envelope should contain only one application.
Application from a candidate debarred from appearing in the Exam by the DSSSB/SSC for life time or for a particular period will not be entertained.
Original documents/ certificates are to be produced along with self attested copies at the time of verification of documents only.
If on verification at any time before or after the written examination or at any stage of recruitment process, it is found that candidate do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature for the post applied for, will be cancelled by the Board/Appointing Authority.
NOTE: Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates including orthopaedic disabilities which affect the motor and coordination skills, dyslexic and cerebral palsy persons (with Physical disabilities not less than 40%) and Visually handicapped (VH) candidates (including blind and partially blind persons) with visual disabilities not less than forty percent who are unable to write themselves can avail the assistance of a SCRIBE for writing answers on their behalf by following the prescribed procedure.
