Delhi University All Guns for Makeover: Will Monitor the Examination Department Closely

The Delhi University’s examination department is in a severe mood to go for a massive makeover . The university promised to declare the examination results of one point two lakh students online in two weeks from now.

The University is also going to change the way the question paper is set and closely monitor the way teachers evaluate answer sheets by assigning two teachers per paper, which would be corrected in the same exam like conditions.

The University has been in a state of tizzy since the last thirty years, when the colleges would send answer sheets to the examinations department, after which the papers were sent to the homes of individual teachers. This situation would eventually become out of hand, as teachers would take more time than needed to check them , resulting into delaying of the exam results.

Also, from now on there will be a three-member board to set each paper, which they will do in English and Hindi, and send the copies to the branch.

Later the department will be required to come and moderate it at the branch, which will be easier as it already would be in a soft copy format. Also, each college will be required to keep their emails and faxes intact on the day of examination.
