The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. It invites application from eligible candidates for selecting students for admission to MPhil (Part Time and Full Time) and PhD Programmes.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Delhi University (DU)
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
Selection Procedure for Admission in Delhi University (DU): Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the Written Test and interview to be conducted by the Department of Education.
How to Apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU): The Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained from State bank of India, North Campus, DU on cash payment of Rs 450 for General/ OBC Category Candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ ST/ PWD Category Candidates.
It can also be obtained from Central Institute of Education (CIE), Department of Education, University of Delhi on cash payment of Rs 525 for General/ OBC Category Candidates and Rs 375 for SC/ ST/ PWD Category Candidates.
It can also be obtained via post from Dean, Faculty of Education, Delhi University, Delhi- 07; mentioning the name of the programme on the envelope along with a Bank Draft of Rs 525 for General/ OBC Category Candidates and Rs 375 for SC/ ST/ PWD Category Candidates.
The fee needs to be paid in the form of Demand draft drawn on any Nationalised Bank, payable at Delhi in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi. Retain photocopy of the draft for entry in the application form.
