The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. It invites application from eligible candidates for selecting students for admission to M.Ed. Programmes.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree with Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics as a subject with 60% aggregate marks for General Category & 55% for all reserved categories.
- Completed at least one year course in Mathematics.
Selection Procedure for Admission in Delhi University (DU): A Candidate must have qualified the Joint Admission Test (JAM-2012) to M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) AND few seats are also available for meritorious candidates qualifying the M.Sc. Admission Entrance Test (2012) conducted by the University of Delhi.
Final selection from the short-listed candidates will be done on the basis of performance at the interview Scholarship.
Scholarship: All the selected candidates shall be provided scholarship of Rs 3,000 per month to be sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India) OR by University of Delhi.
How to Apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU): Application Forms and Admission Bulletin/Brochure are available from 10 May 2012, Thursday (Tentatively) at DU website under PG Admission Section. The fee of Rs 250 needs to be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at New Delhi.
