Dena Bank notified the interview cut off marks for interview of selected candidates for recruitment of 500 General Banking Officers (PO) in Junior Management Grade Scale- I on 4 May 2012. The interview process of 5000 shortlisted candidates will start from 21 May 2012 in phases at selected centres and end on 27 May 2012.
The cut off marks were based on the eligibility criteria notified by the bank along with a valid IBPS score obtained by the candidates. The category wise minimum Cut off Marks of candidates called for Interview are 162 for General Category, 159 for OBC, 149 for SC, 138 for ST, 148 for OC, 125 for HI, and VI.
A total of 5000 candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit are called for the interview in the ratio of 1:4 (1:5 in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD). The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the interview which will be of 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 40% for General Category (35% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). Marks obtained in interview will be reckoned for merit ranking. Candidate not passing in interview will not be considered for final selection.
Dena Bank was founded on 26 May 1938 by the family of Devkaran Nanjee under the name Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company Ltd. It became a Public Ltd. Company in December 1939 and later the name was changed to Dena Bank Ltd. It is one among six Public Sector Banks selected by the World Bank for sanctioning a loan of Rs 72.3 crores for augmentation of Tier-II Capital under Financial Sector Developmental project in the year 1995.
