Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Nagaland, Kohima, Government of Nagaland under the World Bank- funded project issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 5 contractual posts of Consultants in different disciplines – one post each in the discipline of Solar Energy, M&E and IT, Water Sanitation, Public health and IEC & Social mobilization -- for a period of one year. Vacancy Details

1. Consultant: 5 posts

Vacancy with: The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, under the World Bank- funded project

Type of vacancies: contractual positions

Duty Station: Kohima

Duration: 3-years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance

Reporting to: Deputy Project Director/ Deputy Director

Discipline-wise post details:

a. Consultant Solar Energy: one post

Eligibility Criterion: B.Tech./ BE in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum 5 years experience in Solar industry preferably in Solar consulting business

b. Consultant M&E and IT: one post

Eligibility Criterion: BE/ B.Tech./ M.Tech./ MCA (Computer Science, ECE, Information Technology) OR MBA with 8 years relevant work experience.

c. Consultant Water Sanitation: one post

Eligibility Criterion: Post-graduate Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering with minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience in program management and in experience of procuring goods, services and works for water Sanitation projects.

d. Consultant Public health: one post

Eligibility Criterion: MBBS with minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience.

e. Consultant IEC and Social mobilization: one post

Eligibility Criterion: Post-graduate degree in Sociology, Social-anthropology, Anthropology or other relevant social sciences or Communication with at least 5 years experience of working directly with communities on community-based projects.

NOTE: Excellent oral & writing skills in English is must

Selection Procedure: Consultants would be selected in accordance with the World Bank Consultant Guidelines.

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview. Only short-listed candidates would be called for the Interview. List of shortlisted candidates for interview will be available at www.nrhmnagaland.in. on 26 November 2014.

Candidates appearing for the Interview should carry all documents in original and one set of attested photocopies with them for verification.
