Eligibility Criteria for Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification:
Scientist ‘E’: Possess Doctoral Degree in the respective specialization.
Scientist ‘D’/ Project Scientist ‘C’ (on Contractual Recruitment): Possess Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline.
Deputation Basis:
Officers/ Scientists or Technologists working under the Central/ State Govt. or Universities or Research Institutions or PSUs or Autonomous bodies etc. :
- Holding the analogous posts or equivalent on Regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- With 05 (five) years of relevant experience of the regular service in the immediate lower pay scale or equivalent; or
- With 10 (ten) years of relevant experience of the regular service in the next to immediate lower pay scale or equivalent; and
- Possessing Doctoral Degree in the respective specialization.
Experience Required to apply for Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi Vacancy: having a relevant experience in the concerned field for the respective posts.
Scientist ‘E’: 10 years.
Scientist ‘D’: 08 years.
Project Scientist ‘C’: 04 years
Age Limit
On Deputation Basis: (Scientist ‘E’): maximum 56 years as on last date of receipt of application.
On Contractual Basis:
Scientist ‘D’: 40 years.
Project Scientist ‘C’: 35 years
OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD: As per norms.
Selection Procedure for Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi Jobs Recruitment 2016
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test and/ or Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
