DU Admission for UG Programs delayed, aspirants distressed

The Delhi University admission process has been delayed, disappointing the college aspirants. The University is yet to announce its admission policy for the undergraduate courses.

Delhi: With the onset of admission season, students have been much busy in filling up the forms and submitting the same at respective colleges and Universities. In this context, DU admission 2016-17 is one of the highly sought after intake process for UG courses, by the aspirants. Every year lakh of applicants send in their application to get admission into one of the premiere academic institutions of the country.

The DU admission 2016-17, for undergraduate programs, has been running behind schedule adding to the anxiety of the aspirants. Every year the varsity conducts strict selection process for intake of fresher talents against 54000 available undergraduate seats. The admission process for all the colleges in Delhi University begins right after the declaration of the CBSE Class 12th Result.

In the previous years, prior to the admission process the University issues a notification, at least two weeks in advance. Open days/ counseling sessions are done to give proper guidance to all the prospective applicants. However no such advancements have been visible yet.

Over 60 colleges are involved in the DU admission process 2016-17.
