Employees’ State Insurance Corporation invited applications for recruitment of Teaching Faculty positions – Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for ESIC Medical Colleges at the various locations, on regular basis by Direct Recruitment. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through online on or before 3 February 2014. The promulgation of Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. The ESI Act 1948 encompasses certain health related eventualities that the workers are generally exposed to; such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent disablement, Occupational disease or death due to employment injury, resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity-total or partial.

Age Limit
•Candidate age should not more than 50 years for all posts.
•Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification
A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 and A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline for all posts.
Application Fee
•General& OBC candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.225/- drawn in favour of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I’, drawn on any scheduled bank payable at ‘New Delhi’.
•Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Departmental Candidates/Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen categories are exempted from payment of fees.
Pay Scale
•Professor: Rs. 37400 to 67000 + AGP- Rs. 8,700
•Associate professor: Rs. 15600 to 39100 + AGP- Rs. 7,600
•Assistant professor: Rs. 15600 to 39100 + AGP- Rs. 6,600
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
