ESSO Notified Recruitment for 17 Scientist D Posts 2014

    The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, an autonomous research Organization invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Scientist D Posts under ESSO/MoES, fully devoted to cutting edge research in various aspects of climate science. The candidates eligible for the posts can apply through prescribed format before 15 April 2014.

    • Scientist ’D’ Centre for Climate Research: 10 Posts
    • Scientist ’D’ Centre for Advanced Training: 4 Posts
    • Scientist ’D’ National Monsoon Mission: 3 Posts

    Educational Qualification

    Scientist ‘D’ - Centre for Climate Change Research: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Physics, Geophysics or a Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institution with good scientific standing and with at least first class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent with at least First class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level

    Scientist ’D’ Centre for Advanced Training: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Physics, Geophysics or a Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institution with good scientific standing and with at least first class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent with at least First class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree

    Scientist ’D’ National Monsoon Mission: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Physics, Geophysics or a Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institution with good scientific standing and with at least first class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent with at least First class (60% marks) in the qualifying degree level

    Age Limit: 50 years

    Selection Procedure

     The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in interview process.
