Shortlisting Criteria for MBA (full-time) programme

Every year, FMS Delhi shortlists the candidates for its full time programme through CAT exam. On the basis of the performance in the CAT exam, a shortlist is announced.

This year, candidates with high balanced sectional percentile but low overall CAT percentile of 92-96 could find a place in the shortlist of IIM but did not find the place in FMS shortlist. Hence, you need to maintain a high overall percentile along with a balanced sectional percentile to get shortlisted for FMS Delhi MBA course.

FMS Delhi: CAT 2016 shortlisting Criteria

FMS Delhi has scrapped the Group Discussion (GD) from its final selection round. It only conducts Personal Interview (PI) that further comprises of two rounds. In round one ‘extempore speech’ of 2-3 minutes has to be delivered by the student and thereafter a ‘personal interview’ of 5 to 15 minutes takes place. In 2017, the Extempore/PI rounds were conducted from April 10 to 17, 2017.

Candidates who successfully perform in Personal Interview are selected by the institute for the 2-year MBA (full-time) programme. It is at the discretion of the selected candidate to accept the admission offer extended by the institute.
