Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor, Floor Assistant & Other posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Dean (Films): Degree and Diploma from FTII or equivalent in Film or Television Direction/Production with eight years professional experience in a responsible capacity in film direction/production/training.
Professor Cinematography: Degree or equivalent in Motion Picture Photography or Cinematography with six years professional experience including teaching experience in the field of Motion Picture Photography in an organization or institution of repute.
Professor Screenplay Writing: Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Film Direction/Screenplay Writing with 6 years professional experience as a Script Writer for films including teaching in an organization or institution of repute.
Professor Editing: Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in Film Editing with 6 years professional experience including teaching in Film Editing in an organization or Institution of repute.
Associate Professor Film Direction: Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Film Direction or Film Production with 4 years professional experience including teaching as a Motion Picture Production or direction Executive in an organization or Institution of repute.
Assistant Professor Sound Engineering: Degree /Diploma or equivalent in Sound Engineering with 2 years professional experience including teaching in Sound Recording/Sound Engineering in an organization or institution of repute engaged in Film/TV Production or training.
Assistant Professor Cinematography: Degree /Diploma or equivalent in Motion Picture Photography/Cinematography with 2 years professional experience including teaching in Motion Picture Photography or Cinematography in an organization or institution of repute.
Assistant Professor Editing: Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Film Editing with 2 years professional experience including teaching in Film Editing in an organization or Institution of repute.
Assistant Professor TV Production: Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in Film or Television Direction/Production with 2 years professional experience including teaching in a responsible capacity in an organization or institution of repute connected with TV Production/Training.
Maintenance Engineer: Degree in Engineering in Telecommunications/Electronics or equivalent OR MSc with Physics with Electronics or Wireless as a special subject or equivalent with four years experience of maintenance of Electronics equipment in radio or television Broadcasting set up.
Research Assistant (Films): Master Degree in Journalism, Communications, Social Sciences or Economics with 2 years experience in data collection/reference/documentation in an organization connected with Social Sciences in an institution or a large newspaper preferably connected with films.
Floor Assistant: Matriculation or Equivalent with two years experience of assisting on floor work connected with erection of sets, arrangements of lights for film/TV/Theater programme.
Multi Tasking Staff (Chowkidar): Matriculation or equivalent passed.

Age Limit for Assistant Professor, Floor Assistant & Other posts:

Not exceeding 50 years for post no. 1 to 4.
Not exceeding 45 years for post no. 5.
Not exceeding 40 years for post no. 6 to 9.
Not exceeding 30 years for post no. 10 & 11.
Not exceeding 25 years for post no. 12 & 13.

Selection Process for Assistant Professor, Floor Assistant & Other posts:

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test.
