Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established by Government of NCT of Delhi. The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. Popularly known as IP University by its students, the university has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to its various Programmes mentioned below.

• Sale of Application brochure & CET form starts from: 20 January 2012
• Opening date for online application: 25 January 2012
• Last Date for sale of Application Brochure & CET form (by post): 30 January 2012
• Last Date for receipt of CET application/ online registration (Post-Graduate Medical Degree/ Diploma Course): 19 March 2012 till 4 pm
• Last Date for receipt of CET application/ online registration (Professional Programme/ Engineering Programme/MBBS Programme): 16 April 2012 till 5 pm
• Last Date for receipt of CET application/ online registration (BArch Programmes): 4 June 2012 to 2 July 2012 till 5 pm

Cost of Admission Brochure: The price of Admission Brochure along with Application Form is Rs 1000.

Admission brochure along with Application Form can also be obtained through registered/ speed post. A Demand Draft of Rs 1100 drawn in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The name, address and phone number of the applicant should be clearly mentioned on the back side of the Demand Draft/ Pay Order.

For online application, the application form along with the Common Entrance Test Fee of Rs 1,000 and Rs 100 as postage and handling can be submitted through the Internet Link.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET 2012)

How to Apply: The Application Form complete in all respects in the sealed printed envelope given along with Admission Brochure, should be submitted by hand at the University counter or it may be sent by Registered/ Speed Post to the Controller of Examinations, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075.
