GPSC Recruitment 2016 for 17 Faculty and Other Posts

Goa PSC invited applications for recruitment to the post for Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Junior Consultant, Junior ENT Surgeon, Dy. Town Planner, Scientific Assistant , Senior Translator, Assistant Director and Assistant Archivist Grade I. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through the prescribed format on or before 05 August 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for Faculty and Other Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Assistant Professor (Neurology) : candidate should have Post graduate degree or equivalent in  the concerned super-specialty or equivalent with minimum 01 year teaching and/or research experience  in  a  recognized  Medical  College/Teaching  Institution  in  the  subject  of  super-specialty  post Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch) and should have knowledge of Konkani.

Lecturer (Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics) : candidate should have Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry   (Master  of  Dental  Surgery)  from  a  recognized  institution  or  equivalent and should  be  registered with Dental Council and should have Knowledge of Konkani

Junior Consultant (Pediatrician) : candidate should have  Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the specialty concerned. Candidate with  Diploma  should have 02-year post qualification work experience in  responsible position in concerned specialty  and should have knowledge of Konkani. 

Junior Consultant (Pathologist) : candidate should have  Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the specialty concerned. Candidate with  Diploma  should have 02-year post qualification work experience in  responsible position in concerned specialty  and should have knowledge of Konkani.  

Junior Consultant (Surgeon) : candidate should have  Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the specialty concerned. Candidate with  Diploma  should have 02-year post qualification work experience in  responsible position in concerned specialty  and should have knowledge of Konkani. 

Junior ENT Surgeon : candidate should have  Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the specialty concerned. Candidate with  Diploma  should have 02-year post qualification work experience in  responsible position in concerned specialty  and should have knowledge of Konkani.   

Assistant Professor (English) : candidate should have completed Master ’s Degree  with minimum 55 % in concerned Subject, should have qualified NET / SET or PH.D in relevant Subject, and should have knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Professor (Tabla) : candidate should have completed Master ’s Degree  with minimum 55 % in concerned Subject, should have qualified NET / SET or PH.D in relevant Subject, and should have knowledge of Konkani.  

Dy. Town Planner : candidate should have Degree  in Regional/Town Planning from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent with  02 years experience in a Planning or architectural organization  and should have knowledge of Konkani

Scientific Assistant (Forensic Science Laboratory (Toxicology, Chemistry and Narcotics) : candidate should have Master’s Degree in Science, with minimum second class from a recognised University with specialization in the  discipline  of Chemistry/Forensic Science and should have knowledge of Konkani.

Senior Translator (Marathi) : candidate should have Post Graduate Degree in Marathi from a recognised University or equivalent with minimum  five years experience in translation from Marathi to English and vice versa and should have  knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Director : Master’s Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent with  Five  years  experience  of  Social  Work  in  any  Social  Welfare  Organisation  recognised  by  the Government with  Knowledge  of Konkani.

Assistant Archivist Grade I : candidate should have 2nd Class Master’s degree in Indian History of a recognised University or equivalent with  experience of research in Modern  Indian History/teaching  of  Modern  Indian  History  in  a  University  or  College/work  in  an  Archival Office and Degree  in  Portuguese or Curso Complementar of Arts/Science from Lyceum and should have knowledge of Konkani.
