Akhilesh Kumar, Ghazipur
Answer:There are several ways of entering air force after 10+2. The age of the prospective candidate should be between 16 to 19 years with 10+2 school education with physics and mathematics. The candidate is required to clear NDA or National Defence Academy exam. which is conducted twice a year by UPSC, New Delhi. The NDA exam will consist of 2 papers with multiple choice questions. While the first paper is of mathematics (300 marks), the second paper is further divided into 2 parts which will consist of questions on English and General Ability. Youth selected in the examination are provided training for three years in the NDA, and then they sent to air force academy for other specialized trainings. Besides, appointments are also done for various non-officer posts through direct recruitment plan. For detailed information, visit the website www.careerairforce.nic.in.
