How to Apply for MAT December 2013

All India Management Association (AIMA) announced the schedule for Management Aptitude Test 2013. The exam will be held in the month of December 2013. Interested candidates can register for the exam till 16 November 2013

About MAT: MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is a national level test conducted by AIMA to facilitate various national and international B-Schools to screen candidates for admission to their MBA and allied programs. Any B-School can consider MAT scores for offering admission to the candidates.

The Multiple Choice Objective Type test is held 4 times each year -- in February, May, September and December by the AIMA. It is conducted in both -- paper mode and computer mode.

The MAT December paper based test will be held on 1 December 2013 between 1000 hours and 1230 hours and computer based test will be conducted from 7 December 2013 onwards in different time slots.  One candidate can appear only for one date for the December 2013 MAT.

How to Apply: Eligible graduates, interested in appearing in MAT December examination should register online through AIMA website till 16 November 2013.

Candidates applying online will have the option to pay the examination fees of Rs. 1200 either using a credit card / debit card OR through a crossed demand draft of Rs 1200 drawn in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi.

Otherwise, candidate can also obtain the application form with MAT bulletin / CD from listed study centers of AIMA / AIMA, New Delhi by making cash payment of Rs 1200.

In either case, the completely filled –in application form / print-out of the online submitted application form should reach the AIMA, New Delhi by 19 November 2013.

All MAT Registration Forms received at AIMA by the prescribed date and time will be scanned / validated within 3 days and the Form Numbers of the shortlisted / selected  forms will be uploaded on the Web-Link.

After scrutiny, forms found in order will be provisionally registered. All provisionally registered candidates -- both for Paper Based test and Computer Based Test – will be able to download their Admit Card from AIMA Web-Link 7 days before the Paper Based test date i.e. with effect from 23 November 2013.

The Admit Card will contain Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address.

Candidates -- who have opted for Computer Based Test -- will have the option to choose the date and time slot of their choice. Date and time slot will be automatically allotted by the system to those candidates who do not select their slot up to 4 days before the Computer Based Test.

Candidate will have to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of Computer Based Test.
