Eligibility Criteria for HPPSC Professor, Lecturer & Other Posts:

Professor- Candidates should have (a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (MD / M.S)

(b) A postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty.

(c) At least 4 years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the concerned speciality failing which an Associate Professor having 7 years teaching experience as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor combined in the concerned speciality.

Associate Professor- Candidates should have (a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (MD / M.S)

(b) A postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty.

(c) At least five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality failing which an Assistant Professor having Six years teaching experience as Assistant Professor and Lecturer.

Assistant Professor- Candidates should have (a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (MD / M.S)

(b) A postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty.

(c) At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator/ Resident after doing post-graduation

Lecturer- Candidates should have Post Graduate Degree Swasthavritta / Kriya Sharira / Kaumarabhritya-Bala-Roga Law or the degree recognized by CCIM (Central Council of Indian Medicine) or H.P. Government.

Age Limit:

21-35 Years

(Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules)

Application Fees:

Gen/OBC- 400 Rs.

S.C. of Himachal Pradesh /S.T. of H.P. /O.B.C./BPL of Himachal Pradesh- 100 Rs.

Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh- Nil.
