HPPSC Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service Examination is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) for filling up the vacancies of Junior Division Civil Judge. HPPSC 2019 exam was held for filling up of a total 5 vacancies. The application process for the HPPSC exam began in June 2019 and concludes in July 2019. The HPPSC Judicial Service exam is held in two phases – Prelims and Mains.
HPPSC Judicial Service Recruitment 2020 will be notified by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission itself. The recruitment begins with the application process. Eligible candidates need to fill the application form to appear for the exam.

HPPSC Judicial Service: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria of HPPSC Judicial Service exam before applying. All details with respect to the HPPSC Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:
Educational Qualification- Candidate should hold a degree in Law which must be recognized by the Bar Council of India
Citizenship- Candidate should be a citizen of India
Desirable Qualification- Candidate should have knowledge of culture and customs of Himachal Pradesh
Age Limit- The minimum age limit is 22 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for reserved category candidates.
HPPSC Judicial Service Online Application Process
Candidates need to visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission in order to fill the online application form. Interested candidates should carefully read the exam notification and eligibility criteria before filling the form. Follow the given steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website hppsc.hp.gov.in & click on the “New Registration” link
Step 2: Fill all the required details such as Name, User ID, Password, Category, Email ID, Gender, Date of Birth and Security Question.
Step 3: Now apply for the exam by filling details such as Father’s/Mother’s Name, District, Center, Qualification Details, Contact No., and Address.
Step 4: Upload your passport size photograph and signature.
Step 5: Pay the application fee either through E-Challan or Internet Banking or Debit/Credit Card
HPPSC Judicial Service Exam Centers
The HPPSC Preliminary Exam will be held at Dharmasala in Kangra District and Shimla. The exam will be held at Dharmasala centre if adequate numbers of candidates choose this centre. The aforementioned centres are subjected to change or cancelled at the discretion of the commission. However, every effort will be made that candidates are allotted their preferred centres as mentioned in their application forms.
HPPSC Judicial Service Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. Only those candidates who fill their application forms correctly are issued with the admit card. Candidates need to carry the admit cards at the time of exam as no candidate will be allowed to enter the test centre without admit card.

HPPSC Judicial Service Result
HPPSC Judicial Service exam results are declared on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. Candidates who qualify the Prelim and Main Exam will be called for Viva Voice round. The marks obtained in the Viva-Voice round will be added to the marks obtained in the Main written exam for the selection of candidates.
Candidate needs to score minimum 45% marks of the total marks allotted for the interview to qualify the competitive exam.
HPPSC Judicial Service Cut-off
The minimum qualifying marks in any paper is 40% other than Hindi Language Paper (Paper V) in which candidates should obtain minimum 33% marks. Candidates will only be qualified for the Mains if they obtain 45% marks in aggregate in all papers and minimum 33% marks in Language paper, i.e. Hindi.
