HPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment to the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in the Rest of Haryana Cadre and Mewat Cadre. Candidates have to register online by visiting regn.hpsc. gov. indirectly OR through hpsc.gov.in for submitting their online application form.
A total of 3068 vacancies are announced for Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, English, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Maths, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Urdu and Punjabi. Candidates are required to apply online on the website hpsc.gov.in.

HPSC PGT Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualification common to all advertisements of posts Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A/M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
- M.Sc/M.Com/M.A in a relevant field with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university
- Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET)
- Consistent good academic record.
Age Limit:
18 to 42
HPSC PGT Exam Pattern
- Screening Test (wherever applicable) - There will be 100 MCQs and the duration of the exam is 02 hours. The total marks of the exam are 100. All questions carry equal marks.
- Subject Knowledge Test -
- Interview/Viva-Voce:
- The weightage of the interview will be 12.5%. The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the subject knowledge test and interview/viva voce.
