IAS aspirants appearing for the IAS Main exam 2012 need to score good marks for getting high rank. Dos and Don’ts for English and Indian Language Papers
• Attempt first those questions in which you think you can score. Leave time-consuming questions and attempt them only when you have ample time.
• Do Comprehension part of the paper carefully. You can score maximum marks in this section.
• Avoid spelling and grammatical mistakes in your writing.
• Ensure that you handwriting is neat and clear.
• Don’t use figurative language and words unnecessarily.
• Attempt easy questions first. Leave the difficult ones.
• Represent your thoughts in a way which shows clarity. Avoid the writing style which is ambiguous.
• Express your ideas clearly and correctly in English/Indian language concerned.
• Read and understand the questions first before you start writing answers.
