IBPS has conducted the online preliminary examination for the post of the clerk on 26 and 27 November successfully. The exam was conducted for 100 marks comprised of 100 questions with a time of 1 hour.
Pattern of Examination: The examination has 3 sections – Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language. There were five alternatives in every question of a test. The candidates shall be required to qualify in each section as per cut-off marks determined on the basis of performance in each section and also on the total weighted score. Negative marking is applicable for the Objective Test. For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
