Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has disclosed the exam dates for Probationary Officer, RRB, PSB and CWE Clerk. IBPS will conduct preliminary exam for Probationary Officer from 13 October 2018 and the main exam will be held on 8 November.

Other than this, RRB CWE (Officer Scale I and Office Assistants) Preliminary Exam will be held on 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 Aug, 1 September and 30 September 2018. The Main Exam for Officer Scale I to be held on 30 September and for Office Assistants, 7 October.

The preliminary exam for clerks will be held on 8, 9, 15 and 16 Dec 2018 and the main exam is scheduled to be held on 20 January 2019. The Specialist Officer Preliminary Exam will be held on 29 and 30 December and main exam on 27 Jan 2019.

The minimum qualification for appearing in Probationary Officer Preliminary Exam is Graduation. All those who have passed Graduation in any discipline and coming between 20 to 30 years can apply to the post of Probationary Officer.

The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main. Candidates who will qualify in Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination. Shortlisted candidates in the Main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations.

The Preliminary Exam consists of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The exam will carry 100 Marks for 1 hour duration. Candidates have to qualify in each of three papers by securing minimum cut off Marks.

The Main Exam consists of Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language and Data Analysis & Interpretation. The exam will be of 200 Marks for 3 hours duration.

0.25 Marks will be deducted as penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests (Preliminary and Main Exam).
