IBPS RRB 2016: Application process nearing end, Last minute wrap up of important details

Application process will come to an end for IBPS RRB 2016 on 30 September. A total of 16560 vacancies are available, as of now. While some banking job aspirants have submitted their applications, many others will still be on the verge of submission. Here’s a brief update on all the important facts and features regarding IBPS RRB 2016, for all aspirants.

Here’s a brief update on all the important facts and features regarding IBPS RRB 2016, for all aspirants.

IBPS conducts implements strict selection procedure every year to induce fresher talents into the banking sector of the country. The common recruitment process involves accepting online applications, conducting written examinations followed by interview and provisional allotment of candidates against the posts.

IBPS will conduct Common Written Exam 5 / CWE V for recruiting eligible candidates to all the Regional Rural Banks / RRBs in the country. IBPS RRB 2016 will be held to recruit Group “A”-Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). This year 56 RRBs have participated in the common recruitment process.

Candidates must be a graduate in the relevant discipline and must also have required number of experience. IBPS has also made it mandatory for those applying for Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) to have proficiency in local language.

For IBPS RRB 2016, there will be two tier written exam for Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant Posts, and a single level written exam for Officer Scale 2 and 3.

The preliminary exam for Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant Posts will be held during November and main exam will follow in the next month. Single level exam for Officer Scale 2 and 3 will also be held during December.

Interview for all posts will be held in January 2017 and provisional allotment of selected candidates will be done during February 2017.

Along with online application candidates are required to pay fee of Rs 600 (Rs 100 for reserved categories) for IBPS RRB 2016.
