  • Junior Technical Assistant (Drafting): 01 Post

  • Junior Research Assistant (Observations): 02 Posts
  • Lower Division Clerk (Caretaker):  01 Post
  • Laboratory Assistant (Electrical): 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria for Engineer & Other Posts:

Educational Qualification:

  • Engineer ‘B’ (Software): Candidate should possess B.E/ B.Tech/ M. Sc in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication or MCA with at least 60% marks.
  • Engineer ‘B’ (Optics): B.E / B/Tech (Mechanical /Instrumentation / Engg. Physics / Applied Optics) or M.Sc. (Physics / Optics) with at least 60% marks.
  • Section Officer, Upper Division Clerk: Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce/Arts or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Technical Assistant (Optics): Bachelor’s degree in Physics/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
  • Technical Assistant (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks.
  • Junior Technical Assistant (Drafting): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
  • Mechanic ‘A’: SSLC with two years NCTVT certificate course (ITI) in Millwright mechanic/ Machinist/ Turner/ Fitter.
  • Junior Research Assistant (Observations): B.Sc. in Physics/ Maths/ Chemistry/ Electronics or equivalent with at least 60% marks.
  • Lower Division Clerk (Caretaker): 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
  • Laboratory Assistant (Electrical): SSLC with two years NCTVT certificate course (ITI) in Electrician/ Wireman/ Electrical

Age Limit:

  • Engineer, Section Officer: Upper age limit for the post is 35 years.
  • Technical Assistant (Optics), Technical Assistant (Civil), Junior Technical Assistant (Drafting), Mechanic, Junior Research Assistant (Observations), Lower Division Clerk, Laboratory Assistant: Upper age limit for the post is 30 years.
  • Upper Division Clerk: Upper age limit for the post is 32 years.
