IIM-Udaipur Team to Compete in India-US Business Conference at Michigan

Beating the teams from Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, INSEAD, MIT, NUS, Kellogg, etc., the IIM-Udaipur team has made it to the top 5 B-Schools that are going to compete in the finals of the India-US Business Conference (IBC) - CK Prahalad Business Case Competition 2013.

Beating the teams from Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, INSEAD, MIT, NUS, Kellogg, etc., the IIM-Udaipur team has made it to the top 5 B-Schools that are going to compete in the finals of the India-US Business Conference (IBC) - CK Prahalad Business Case Competition 2013. The competition will be held at the Stephen M Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.

The team of IIM-Udaipur has been selected from 80 participating teams from the globe. The director of IIM-Udaipur revealed gladly that the team from his Institute is the only team from India as well as Asia to feature in the top 5.

The event was addressed by the significant personalities like Mark Fields (COO Ford), Nina Davuluri (Miss America), Prof Tarun Khanna (Harvard Business School), and Subbarami Reddy (Member of Parliament).

Named as 'Agents of Change', the IIM-Udaipur team includes Arpit Mehra, Biswarup Das, Rahul Dsouza and Rahul Pandey, all of them are the students of post graduate program for executives - Global Supply Chain Management, offered by IIM-U in collaboration with Purdue University. Presently, these students are attending the fall semester at Purdue University which is a part of the course.

"Dream, Lead, Inspire" is the theme for IBC 2013, which is considered as one of the world’s biggest business forums where leaders from the field of business, politics, and academics share and discuss ideas about the world's largest democracy – India, and its huge potential.
