Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jammu Jobs Notification, IIT Jammu invited applications from highly qualified individuals for the posts of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Others. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 17 April 2017.
For Professor, Associate Professors and Assistant Professor Posts an applicant must hold a Ph.D., with 1st class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.
Apart from that specifically for Professors an applicant must possess Minimum 10 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs or in similar institutes of national importance or at an equivalent level in any other Indian or Foreign Institutions/Institutions of comparable standards and for Assistant Professor openings a minimum of 6 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent in IITs or in similar Institutes of National importance or at an equivalent level in any other Indian or Foreign Institutions/ Institutions of comparable standards. An applicant should have acquired a minimum of 3 years of experience in Teaching for Assistant Professor posts.
Candidate will be selected on the basis of their academic qualifications, research, / teaching experience and will be weighed on the basis of their performance in the interview.
