Eligibility Criteria for REOs Posts 2016

Educational Qualification:

• Research Establishment Officer (Grade I): B.Tech in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering with 5 years of experience. OR B.Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, with additional required experience of at least 5 years relevant to installation, maintenance of semiconductor (and related industry) cleanroom/ equipment/facilities/utilities. OR M.Tech/ M.Sc. in any area of engineering or sciences plus 3 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in any area of engineering or sciences.
• Senior Research Establishment Officer: Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering plus 5 years relevant experience. OR Ph.D. in Physics/ Electrical Engineering/ Material Science and Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Photonics plus 5 years relevant experience.

Age Limit

• REOs (Grade I): 45 years
• Senior REOs: 48 years
