IIT-Delhi exhibiting innovations of its student at 10th edition of ‘Open House’ 2014 event

    Have you ever seen a waterless urinal system? A fibre wrapping to protect buildings from the effects of earthquake? Plastic made out from potato starch or solar powered refrigeration system? Viable alternative to CNG?A hemoglobin-checking thermometer? These are just few of the exhibits that are on display at the IIT-Delhi's 'Open House 2014' event today i.e. 19 April 2014.

    This 10th edition of annual event “Open house” acted as a platform of Open House that aimed to unite education, research, innovation and competent designs into at one place to bring desire among the youngsters to get influenced by innovation and technology, as told by Professor SuneetTuli, dean of research and development department at IIT-Delhi.

    The event displayed around 140 live demonstrations of pioneer research projects as well as commercial designs, which had been developed by IIT students and under the guidance of their faculty.  The exhibition is focused at inviting young minds, school-goers and Students.
