The Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024 aims to fill 44228 Gramin Dak Sevak vacancies across 23 circles nationwide. The last date to apply online was 5 August. Candidates falling within the age limit of 18 to 40 years and possessing class 10th mark sheet can follow the steps given below to fill out India Post GDS Application Form 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.in. You can also click on the direct link provided above.

Step 2: Click on the registration tab provided on the right side of the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your basic details and valid email address to fill out the India Post GDS Registration form.

Step 4: A unique registration number and password will be generated. 

Step 5: Visit the homepage again and click on the "Apply Online" tab.

Step 6: Enter your registration number and select your preferred postal circle.

Step 7: Start filling in the required details in the application form.

Step 8: Upload the necessary documents and pay the applicable fees.

India Post GDS Application Fee

The application fee for India Post GDS online form is Rs. 100. However, SC/ST/PwD/Female/Transwomen candidates are exempt from paying any fee. The payment can be made through various modes, including credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI.

Applicants must ensure their documents meet the specified requirements or else their application forms will be rejected. They must upload their recent photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format and not exceeding the 50 kb size. Similarly, the signature file should not exceed 20kb and must also be in .jpg or .jpeg format. When applying for the Gramin Dak Sevak, candidates must know the India Post GDS Preference Number. Applicants must first select their desired Circle and then choose the Division within it. They can also apply for categories besides their own. Reserved category candidates can apply for both their own category and General category vacancies. However, General category candidates are not permitted to apply for reserved category vacancies.
