Indian Air Force invited applications for recruitment to the post of A/C Mechanic, Electrician, Painter, C & SMW, Fitter Mechanical Transport, Inst Repairer, Cook, Mess Staff, MTS and Safaiwala. Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force Safaiwala, MTS & Other posts:

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience: 

• A/C Mechanic (A): Industrial training Institute Certificate in the appropriate/akin field or trade with three year experience OR Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz, Air Frame Fitter with five years of experience.
• A/C Mechanic (E): Industrial training Institute Certificate in the appropriate/akin field or trade with three year experience OR Ex-servicemen from appropriate trade viz, Engine fitter with five years service.
• Electrician: Industrial Training Institute Certificate in appropriate/akin field or trade Viz., Electrician OR Ex-servicemen from appropriate trade viz, Electrical Fitter.
• Painter: Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate/akin field or trade Viz., Painter OR Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz, Painter.
• C & SMW: Industrial Training Institute certificate in appropriate/akin field or Trade viz. Sheet Metal Worker with two years experience OR Ex-Servicemen from appropriate trade viz. Workshop Fitter (C& SMW).
• Fitter Mechanical Transport: Industrial Training Institute Certificate in appropriate/akin field or trade Viz., Fitter Mechanical Transport OR Ex-servicemen from appropriate trade viz, NAC Mechanical (Motor Vehicle).
• Inst Repairer: Industrial Training Institute certificate in the appropriate/akin field or trade viz. Instrument Repairer OR Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz., Instrument Repairer/Instrument Technical.
• Cook: Matriculation with six months experience in the trade.
• Mess Staff: Matriculation passed or equivalent qualification from a recognised University or Board.
• MTS: Matriculation passed or equivalent qualification from a recognised University or Board.
• Safaiwala: Matriculation passed or equivalent qualification from a recognised University or Board.

Age Limit for Indian Air Force Safaiwala, MTS & Other posts: Between 18-25 Years for all posts
