Eligibility Criteria for ICMR Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

• Scientist ‘C’ (Statistics/Bio-Statistics): First Class Master’s degree in Statistics/Bio-Statistics from a recognized university with 4 years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1 st Class Master’s Degree. Or Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in Statistics/Bio-Statistics from a recognized University with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc.+Ph.D.
• Scientist ‘D’ (Medical): MBBS Degree recognized by MCI or an equivalent degree from a recognized university with 8 years R&D / Teaching experience in General Medicine/ Pediatrics/ Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases after MBBS Degree out of which atleast 2 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a leadership role. Or Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with five years R&D / teaching experience in General Medicine / Pediatrics/ Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with six years R&D/ teaching experience in General Medicine / Pediatrics / Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases from recognized University out of which atleast 2 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a leadership role.

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2016:

• Scientist ‘C’ (Statistics/Bio-Statistics): Below 40 years
• Scientist ‘D’ (Medical): Below 45 years
