The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried eligible male candidates for grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in Executive Branch i.e. Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch i.e. General Service/Hydro and Technical Branch (General Service).

The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried eligible male candidates for grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in Executive Branch i.e. Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch i.e. General Service/Hydro and Technical Branch (General Service). Candidates who have passed their Engineering Degree or are in the final year of the course from an AICTE recognised institute with 60% marks till 5th/7th semester can apply for the post.

Call for SSB Interview: The candidates will be issued Call Up for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview based on their academic performance till 5th/7th semester for all eligible regular/integrated course.

Minimum percentage for Joining INA: The candidates will be required to pass the final examination (BE/B. Tech) with minimum 60% before joining INA. The candidates failing to meet the minimum cut off percentage will not be permitted to join INA Ezhimala.

The selection process for these posts starts with applying online. Online applications will be shortlisted by the IHQ of MoD and then a cut off percentage will be fixed. The candidates who are not shortlisted will not be called by the INA. No communication will be entertained on this account of not getting shortlisted.

SSB interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at the specified places which are: Bangalore, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS.

7 Smart Tips to Crack CDS Exam (I) 2019

SSB interview will be conducted in two Stages. These are as follows:

Stage I: The Stage I test consists of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test which will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. Candidates, who fail to qualify in Stage I, will be sent back on the same day.

Stage II: The Stage II test comprises Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview which will last for 4 days. Successful candidates in Stage II will attend the Medical Examination.

Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for the training as per all India merit of SSB marks depending on the number of vacancies.

For these posts of Commission Officer, the selection process does not include any written exam. The selection is based on the SSB interview only. The SSB interview will be held only for the shortlisted candidates as decided by the IHQ of MoD. Since, there is no written exam; therefore, syllabus is not significant.
