Indian Overseas Bank notified cut off marks for interview which start from 28 May 2012 for recruitment of 1500 General Banking Officers in Scale-I (Probationary Officers). The cut off for interview was notified on 19 May 2012 for different category candidates.
As per the notice by Bank of India dated 18 May 2012, the cut off for interview for different category candidates will be as follows
- General Category (Gen): 164
- Schedule Caste (SC): 148
- Schedule Tribe (ST): 133
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 156
- Hearing Impairment (HI) and Visually Challenged (OV): 105
- Orthopaedically Challenged (OC): 145
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the interview which will be of 50 marks wherein minimum qualifying marks are 22.50 for General category and 20 marks for reserved category.
Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) was established in 1937 by Shri M Ct M Chidambaram Chettyar to encourage overseas banking and foreign exchange operations. The bank is based in Chennai (Madras) with 2555 domestic branches and six branches overseas.
