These focal points are set to undergo a significant transformation. Work is progressing on Punjab’s new Information Technology (IT) policy, scheduled for implementation by mid-next year. Under this policy, Mohali is poised to become the IT hub of North India, creating approximately 55,000 job opportunities for IT professionals.
The government has actively engaged with entrepreneurs, associations, industry chambers, and industrial groups, incorporating their suggestions into new policies and plans.
