IP University, also known as the Guru Gobind Indraprastha University is all set to open three study centres. One each for indigenous literature, film and culture and development and planning.
This was announced on 3 December 2012 at IP University’s ninth convocation held in its Dwarka campus.
During the convocation, fifteen thousand nine hundred and forty five students received their degrees, sixty seven of them were given gold medals for their academic excellence, while fifteen were honoured for getting ninety per cent or more marks.
Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna, who is the university Chancellor, stated that academic environment along with infrastructure have always played a pivotal role in the growth of an institution.
