Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. ISRO, Ahmendabad issued notification inviting online applications for recruitment to 12 posts of Scientists / Engineers - SC in eight different disciplines / subjects. Interested candidates can apply online through ISRO SAC website from 18 February 2014 till 5 March 2014.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Personal Interview.
Only shortlisted candidates, after screening of applications for qualification/percentage etc, will be called for Interview. E-mail will be sent to the candidates who have been short-listed for Interview at the e-mail ID given in the application.
Appointment is subject to selected candidate being found fit by a Medical Authority.
The candidates can choose Hindi as language for the Interview.
The posts are temporary, but likely to be continued indefinitely. The posts carry all India transfer liability. However, at present the place of posting is SAC, Ahmedabad.
Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates called for the Interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare by shortest route on production of proof of journey.
NOTE: Candidates will have to produce original testimonials / mark-sheets / certificates at the time of Personal Interview for verification failing which they will not be allowed to appear for interview nor the cost of the travel reimbursed.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through ISRO website www.sac.gov.in from 18 February 2014 [0800 hours] till 5 March 2014 [2000 hours].
On successful submission of online application form, a 14-digit Registration Number will be generated by the system. Candidates should note this Registration Number for future correspondence.
After submitting the online application, candidates should take its print-out and send it after signing and attaching a colour photograph and attested copies of required testimonials / mark-sheets / certificates through ordinary post only to ‘The Administrative Officer, Recruitment Section (P & GA), Building No. 30-D, Space Applications Centre (ISRO), Ambawadi Vistar P.O., Jodhpur Tekra Ahmedabad – 380 015 (Gujarat)’ so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 18 March 2014.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe ‘Advertisement Number SAC:01/2014, Post Number, Name of the Post and Registration Number’.
The Online Application link will be disabled after 2000 hours on 5 March 2014 so candidates should ensure that they take the printouts before the scheduled disabling time.
Candidates should retain a print out of the online submitted applications with them for future reference
