JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: Key Points to Remember
- Arrive at the JEE Main exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam starts.
- No entry after the gate closing time and no leaving before the exam ends.
- Students with special attire for religious reasons should arrive early for thorough checking.
- Carry the JEE Main 2025 admit card, address proof, and other required documents. Without the admit card, entry is not allowed.
- Fill out the self-declaration form, affix a passport-sized photo, and provide a thumb impression before reaching the exam centre.
- Strictly follow instructions from the centre superintendent/invigilators.
- Maintain social distancing as per the guidelines.
- Sit at your allocated seat immediately upon entering the exam hall and review instructions before the exam begins.
- A pen/pencil and rough work paper will be provided. Write your name and roll number at the top and return it after use.
- Complete the attendance sheet by signing and pasting your photo.
- Ensure your left thumb impression is clear and not smudged.
- PwD candidates must carry a valid PwD certificate and ID proof to the exam centre.

- Check all details on the JEE Main 2025 admit card for accuracy. Report any discrepancies immediately to the JEE Main authorities.
- If unable to download the admit card, contact JEE Main at 0120-6895200 or email jeemain@nta.ac.in.
- The admit card is provisional and issued subject to eligibility verification.
- Documents required at the exam centre:
- Valid photo ID proof (PAN card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
- Passport-sized photograph (same as uploaded in the application form)
- Self-declaration form (Undertaking)
- Transparent ballpoint pen
- Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml)
- Personal transparent water bottle
- Mask and gloves
- Sugar tablets/whole fruits for diabetic candidates.
List of Items Prohibited Items in JEE Main Exam Hall
The JEE Main 2025 exam has strict guidelines on what items are allowed inside the exam hall to ensure a smooth and secure testing environment. Here’s a list of items that are not allowed inside the JEE Main exam hall:
- Mobile phones, calculators, slide rules, log tables, printed or written material, bits of paper, pagers, or any other electronic devices are not allowed.
- If a candidate is found with any of these items, their exam will be canceled, and they will be banned from future exams. The items will also be confiscated.
