Educational Qualification

Engineers/MBAs with minimum 3 years experience in area of supply chain/logistics/procurements

Job Description:

• Responsible for follow up of all imported parts list sourced across the globe
• Generate and analyze critical imported parts list from the material planning system and liaison with suppliers on daily basis for shipments
• Highlight any potential production risk to plants and involve other departments as required. Check for various options available for assistance
• Arrange airfreight of critical parts for Ford plants across the Asia Pacific region
• Analyse requirements to check for schedule variations
• Ensure supplier/part resourcing are done effectively and updated in the system
• Inventory management
• Monitor the carrier efficiencies by checking for transit delays and analyzing the root cause
• Supporting the customer plants
