Eligibility Criteria for Faculty and Other Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Associate Director (Dairy): candidate should have completed PhD in the concerned/relevant discipline with minimum 10 publications in field of research/Policy Paper etc. candidate should have minimum 10 years experience and should have basic knowledge of computers.

Associate Professor (Dairy) : candidate should have completed PhD in the concerned/relevant discipline  and Master’s Degree with minimum 55 % or equivalent with minimum 05 publications in field of research/Policy Paper etc. candidate should have minimum 08 years experience and should have basic knowledge of computers.

Assistant Professor (Dairy) : candidate should have completed Master’s Degree in concerned subject with minimum 55 % or equivalent from a recognized university and should have qualified UGC/CARNET/SLET or similar test accredited by UGC/ICAR.

Registrar: candidate should have completed PhD in the concerned/relevant discipline and Master’s Degree in Veterinary and allied sciences with minimum 55 % or from recognised university. Candidate should have minimum 15 years experience including 08 years as deputy registrar and should have basic knowledge of computers.

Deputy Engineer: candidate should have second-class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 07 years experience as Junior Engineer. Candidate should have passed CCC+ level examination of DOEACC or equivalent.

Accounts/Audit Officer : candidate should be graduate in commerce and / or chartered accountant having experience in supervisory capacity of  minimum 05 years in maintenance of accounts in a University. Candidate should have passed CCC+ level examination of DOEACC or equivalent.

Head Clerk: candidate should be Graduate with 05 years experience as Senior Clerk and should have passed CCC+ level examination of DOEACC or equivalent.

Lab Technician (Dairy): candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry/ Microbiology as subject and should have undergone training as Lab Technician at a recognised institute. 

Senior Clerk: candidate should have completed HSC or equivalent and should have Typing Speed of 25 WPM in Gujarati and 40 Per Minute in English. Candidate should have passed CCC+ level examination of DOEACC or equivalent.

Junior Clerk : candidate should have passed SSC or equivalent  with English as one of the subjects  from a recognized Board and should have 03 years diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry  or  Diploma  in  Animal  Husbandry  from  a recognised  university.

Livestock Inspector: candidate should have Second Class Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Degree or equivalent and should be registered as Member of State veterinary Council or VCI. Candidate should have passed CCC+ level examination of DOEACC or equivalent

Senior Research Assistant (Veterinary): candidate should have Second Class Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Degree or equivalent and should be registered as Member of State veterinary Council or VCI. Candidate should have passed CCC+ level examination of DOEACC or equivalent

Selection Process for Faculty and Other Posts

Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
