Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA), Bangalore invites applications from students interested in appearing for the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT)-2013 for admission to MBA / MCA courses offered by AICTE approved university affiliated Self Financing colleges and Private management colleges in Karnataka. There are 169 colleges under the KMAT.

Last Date for Submission of Application: 15 June 2013

Issue of Hall tickets begin on: 25 June 2013

Date for KMAT exam: 7 July 2013

KMAT result announcement: 15 July 2013

KMAT scorecard dispatch: 22 July 2013

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks

Application fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 (for Either MBA OR MCA) / Rs.600 (for Both MBA & MCA) has to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of "KMAT 2013", payable at Bangalore.

How to Apply: Candidates interested in appearing in the KMAT entrance exam should send their applications

along with fee DD to “The Secretary - KMAT 2013, Sheshadripuram First Grade College, C.A. Site No 26, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore – 560064” so as to reach the concerned office by 15 June 2013. 

Candidates can obtain the Application form from the colleges affiliated to the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association.  Application forms can also be downloaded from the Official website of Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association.  

Exam Pattern: The examination will be of objective type. There will be different papers for MBA and MBA & MCA combined entrance exam.

The two hour paper for admission to MBA only will have 3 sections having 40 questions each on Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills and Basic Aptitude

The two hour twenty minutes combined paper for admission to MBA & MCA will have 4 sections having 40 questions each on Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, Basic Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

Exam Centers: The KMAT exam will be held at 4 centers in Bangalore, 2 centers in Mangalore and one center each in Bagalkote, Belgaum, Davangere, Gulbarga, Hubli, Mysore, Shimoga and Udupi.
