Kurukshetra University extended last date for applying for Admission to various courses under Distance Mode (except B.Ed./ MBA MCA) to 28 February 2013. The candidates, however, will be charged with a total late fee of Rs 5,000 (Rs 2,000 as late Admission Fee + Rs 2,500 as late Examination Fee + Rs 500 as late fee for payment of Second Instalment of fee).
Prospectus Code Number DE-11 containing Admission Form and other details can be obtained from the Manager (P & P), K.U., Kurukshetra- 136 119 on payment of Rs 400 (Rs 100 for SC/ BC/ Blind candidates of Haryana only) at the University Press counter or by post by sending a Bank Draft of Rs 450 (Rs 150 for SC/ BC/ Blind candidates of Haryana only) in favour of the Registrar, Kurukshetra University payable at Kurukshetra. Candidates desirous to get admission form through post must send two self addressed slips and Code Number of the Prospectus with their request for Prospectus.
Prospectus can also be had on payment of Rs 425 (Rs 125 for SC/ BC/ Blind candidates of Haryana only) from the Head/ Authorised Post Offices/ Selected Branches of Axis Bank/ ICICI/ Oriental Bank of Commerce in Haryana, Punjab, H.P., U.P., Uttranchal, Rajasthan, & Delhi.

The Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 as a unitary residential University and its foundation stone was laid by late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India.
